Muzaffarnagar: An alleged case of human trafficking and forced prostitution has come to light at a hotel on National Highway-58 in Muzaffarnagar, where a woman from Saharanpur was reportedly held captive for 10 days. The woman claims she was brought to the district on the pretext of being offered a job but was subsequently confined and forced into prostitution. Members of a Hindu organisation claim to have rescued her from the hotel. However, no official police statement confirming the allegations or action taken in the matter has been released so far.

How Was the Woman Allegedly Trapped?

In a rescue video shared with the media, the woman identified herself as a resident of Saharanpur. She alleged that she was brought to Muzaffarnagar after being promised employment. However, instead of receiving the promised job, she was allegedly confined in a hotel located along NH-58 for the past 10 days and pressured into commercial sexual exploitation.

The allegations have raised serious questions about the circumstances under which the woman was brought to the hotel and allegedly prevented from leaving.

Organisation Members Claim Rescue

According to members of the Hindu organisation, they received information about the woman’s alleged confinement and reached the hotel themselves. They claim to have freed her and taken her out of the situation.

The woman appeared frightened and distressed in the video shared after the alleged rescue. Organisation members have demanded that the hotel be sealed and strict legal action be initiated against those responsible.

Police Response Awaited

Despite the allegations gaining attention, an official statement from the Muzaffarnagar Police has not yet been made public. Details regarding the registration of an FIR, identification of the accused and any formal investigation also remain unclear.

The allegations are yet to be independently verified, and further details are awaited from the authorities.
