Varanasi: A play school teacher in Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi burned the private parts of a five-year-old boy with a hot knife after he accidentally urinated in his pants, according to police. An FIR has been registered against teacher, principal and the school management over the alleged assault.
Where did the incident happen?
At the Serene Soni Play School in the Lalpur-Pandeypur police station area of Varanasi, the teacher burned the private parts of a five-year-old boy with a hot knife after he urinated in his pants.
On July 24, the nursery student had asked the teacher for permission to go to the bathroom, but when she refused, the innocent child lost control and ended up urinating in his pants.
Angered by this, the teacher took the child to another room, heated the knife on the gas stove, and committed this inhuman act. Based on the complaint of the victim’s lawyer father, the police have registered a case and started further legal investigation.
How did the school raect?
When the frightened child reached home and told his family about his ordeal while crying, the family tried to contact the teacher, but he did not pick up the phone.
When the victim’s father spoke to the school principal, Hemlata Singh, instead of offering assistance, she threatened him. When he went to the school the next day, July 25, the principal and manager flatly refused to help.
What did the police say?
Due to the child’s serious condition and mental distress, the victim’s father filed a written complaint at the Lalpur-Pandeypur police station. Station in-charge Atul Singh stated that an FIR has been registered based on the father’s complaint. The police are investigating the matter thoroughly and further legal action will be taken soon.
An FIR has been registered against teacher Preeti Kushwaha, principal Hemlata Singh and the school management over the alleged assault.
