When the doctors started treatment in the hospital, the elder brother was asked to keep him conscious continuously. The brother slapped him for about an hour to keep him awake. The matter is of Jyoti Nagar of Dehat Kotwali area. 21 year old Arun had gone to the farm with his elder brother Akash. Both were working to provide water to the fields. At around 2 o’clock in the afternoon, Arun picked up the sack of grass kept there. Meanwhile, the snake hidden inside the sack bit him. As soon as the snake bit him, Arun’s condition started deteriorating. He started feeling restless and felt weakness in his body. Within some time he started feeling lethargic. When Akash saw his brother’s condition, he immediately left for the hospital with him.

While taking Arun to the hospital, Shivam Sharma, who runs a medical store, noticed the two brothers. He understood the condition and took him to the medical college on his bike. There, Dr. Sher Singh’s team immediately saw the patient and started the treatment. By the time he reached the hospital, the effects of poison were visible on Arun. He was not able to respond properly and was having intense sleep.
Why did Akash keep waking up his brother by slapping him?
The doctors told the family that the patient had to be kept under constant observation. Arun was closing his eyes again and again. Akash sat near him. Whenever he felt that his brother was going unconscious, he would call him and wake him up by slapping him. This sequence continued for about an hour. During this, Akash slapped his brother more than 150 times. His aim was not to harm him, but to keep him conscious. The hospital staff were also monitoring the patient. What happened after 15 anti-venoms?
Doctors gave anti-snake venom to Arun. According to the report, considering his condition, a total of 15 anti-venom injections were administered. After treatment his condition gradually started improving.
