Rajasthan: Counting of votes for the results of Rajasthan civic elections started on Monday 14 September. The results of elections held in 309 urban bodies of the state are coming out. These include 10 municipal corporations, 47 municipal councils and 252 municipalities. About 1.44 crore voters were eligible to cast their votes in the elections held on a total of 10,245 councillor seats. A total of 74.05% voting was recorded in the two phases of voting. In the first phase, 76.41% voting took place in 162 bodies on September 9 and in the second phase, 71.69% voting took place in 147 bodies on September 11.
