New Delhi: A case of murder of Alvin Prakash Kunder, a resident of Udupi district of Karnataka, has come to light in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Information about this murder that took place about two months ago has now come to light. Alvin’s body was found in a car, reportedly cut into nine pieces and placed in two bags. Alvin had been working at Sharjah Airport for about 14 years and lived there with his wife Tina Kunder and their 10th-class son. The situation regarding the current whereabouts of his wife and son is also unclear. The reason for the murder and the identity of the suspects have not yet been made public during the investigation by Sharjah authorities.

According to Alvin’s brother Anil Prashant Kunder, he had tried to contact his brother on July 20. Alvin did not pick up the phone, but a message came from his mobile that he was fine. The family found this response unusual, as Alvin usually communicated via voice message. When he could not be contacted even after about a week, the family became worried. After this Anil requested Alvin’s old classmate Manohar, who lives in Sharjah, to meet him.
How did the idea of going to India turn out to be wrong?
Manohar reached the flat given by Alvin’s company. The security guard there reportedly told that Alvin had gone to India. The family initially received similar information from the company’s HR department. However, Anil said that Alvin had not returned to India. After this the company was asked to check their records again. A check of passport records reportedly revealed that Alvin was still in Sharjah. After this his missing complaint was lodged.
How was Alvin’s body found in the car?
During the investigation of the missing person, information came to light that Alvin’s body was found in a car parked on the road towards Oman. According to his brother, the body was cut into nine parts and kept in two bags. The body was later identified as Alvin. The family has also received the postmortem report. The circumstances of the murder and the entire chain of transportation of the body to the car are now being investigated by the concerned agencies of UAE.
What increased the mystery due to the disappearance of wife and son?
Alvin’s wife Tina Kunder is a resident of Udupi and worked as a schoolteacher in Sharjah. His son studies in class 10th. Some reports state that both are missing, but their current whereabouts have not been independently confirmed. The family has also said that it was not aware of any dispute between Alvin and his wife.
