Postpaid bills are about to increase! Airtel has increased its plans by up to ₹50

New Delhi: Airtel has revised the prices of its postpaid plans. Along with increasing tariffs by up to ₹50, the company has also added a new benefit for customers. Airtel postpaid users will now receive a free international roaming trip pack every year. The new plans will be effective from October 8, 2026.

According to company information, existing postpaid customers will be transitioned to the highest plan closest to their current plan within about a month. According to an Airtel official, the free international roaming benefit is worth approximately ₹2,000.

5 days roaming pack will be available for free

This free Roaming Pack will be valid for 5 days. It includes 5GB of data, 60 minutes of calling, and 25 outgoing SMS. There will be no charge for incoming SMS. Customers can activate this pack at any time of the year depending on their needs. This benefit is also available to those using a family postpaid plan. Each member of the account will receive a free international roaming trip pack every year.

What will you get in Airtel’s new postpaid plan?

Airtel ‘s Rs. 499 individual plan comes with one SIM. It includes unlimited data and calling, spam and fraud protection, Xstream Play Premium, and Google One. The Rs. 749 family plan offers two SIMs and also includes subscriptions to Amazon Prime, JioHotstar, Xstream Play Premium, and Google One.

The Rs 1,049 plan includes three SIMs and offers benefits like Apple iCloud+, Apple Music, Amazon Prime, JioHotstar, Xstream Play Premium, and Google One. The Rs 1,249 plan offers four SIMs and the remaining subscriptions are largely the same.

The Rs. 1,449 plan adds Netflix Basic to four SIMs. The Rs. 1,799 plan is for five SIMs and includes Netflix Standard, along with Apple iCloud+, Apple Music, Amazon Prime, JioHotstar, Xstream Play Premium, and Google One. All these plans also include one free international roaming trip per year per SIM.

Benefits of 5G and entertainment too

The new postpaid plans include not only roaming but also fast lane technology for 5G and spam and fraud protection. Internet users are also offered various entertainment subscriptions and the Airtel Postpaid Advantage Club. Through the Advantage Club, users can access benefits related to experiences like comedy shows, movie premieres, and concerts.

Airtel’s move comes at a time when Vodafone Idea is also offering free international roaming on some postpaid, prepaid, and enterprise plans. In an attempt to attract investors, the company now includes roaming, data, entertainment, and safety benefits in its premium plans.

How to get the new Airtel Postpaid Plan?

Existing Airtel Postpaid and Prepaid customers can upgrade their plans through the Airtel App. They can also visit their nearest Airtel Store to get a new plan.

If you use a SIM card from another telecom operator, you can request to switch to a postpaid connection through the Airtel App or Airtel Store.
