New Delhi: Controversy is increasing in Delhi regarding the performance of Cockroach Janata Party (CJP). Delhi Police has given information regarding CJP founders Abhijeet Dipke, Ashutosh Ranka and Saurav Das, who were detained at Delhi Airport on Saturday. According to the police, the three leaders have been kept in preventive custody and will be produced before the Executive Magistrate at Delhi Cantt police station. Meanwhile, CJP has announced to march to Jantar Mantar again on Sunday and also to protest in Mumbai.

According to Delhi Police, the three leaders have been taken into preventive custody in view of a possible law and order situation. The purpose of preventive custody is to prevent any possible crime or disturbance. It does not in itself constitute a conviction or sentence for any crime. According to the news, FIR has not been registered against the three leaders. He is said to be produced before the Executive Magistrate.

How many people did Ajinkya Shinde claim to have detained?

CJP leader Ajinkya Shinde is now commanding the movement. He claimed that more than 15,000 people, including students, civil society members and political figures, were detained or faced police action during the protests. Shinde also raised questions on the detention of the three leaders. He says that clear information about him was not given till 12 hours after his detention.

CJP has also announced peaceful demonstrations in Mumbai on Sunday. According to Ajinkya Shinde, the demonstration will be organised at T-junction of Shivaji Park at 4 pm. The organisation says that after this, agitation will be carried out in other cities also.
