New Delhi: Lifestyle technology brand URBAN has launched a new wireless audio device, the VIBE POD OWS, in the Indian market. These open-ear earbuds feature AI-powered live language translation, Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity, and environmental noise cancellation (ENC). The company has introduced them with music listening, gaming, and everyday use in mind. They are priced at ₹1,499 and are available for purchase on e-commerce platforms and the company’s official website.
Language translation will be done with the help of AI
The most notable feature of the URBAN VIBE POD OWS is AI-powered live language translation. According to the company, this feature helps facilitate communication between people who speak different languages. However, the company has not yet provided information on the number of supported languages, the required apps for translation, or other requirements.
Open-ear design and ENC
These earbuds feature an open-ear design. This design doesn’t completely enclose the earbuds, allowing users to listen to music while also hearing ambient sounds and staying alert. This feature can be useful for those who prefer to listen to audio while walking or performing daily tasks. The company claims that these headphones offer powerful bass and feature ENC technology. ENC is used to reduce ambient noise during calls, helping the person on the other end hear voices more clearly.
Bluetooth 6.0 and up to 30 hours of battery life
The URBAN VIBE POD OWS features Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity. According to the company, this allows for wireless connection with compatible devices. It also features gaming and video sync features, which aim to reduce the delay between audio and video. However, the company did not provide audio latency details. Speaking of battery life, these earbuds offer up to 30 hours of playback time with the charging case. They also feature soft-touch controls, allowing users to access essential functions like music and calls. The company also offers a one-year warranty with this device.
The price has been kept so much
The URBAN VIBE POD OWS is priced at ₹1,499. It is available for purchase from the company’s official website, gourban.in, and e-commerce platforms. With AI translation, an open-ear design, and long battery life, the company is positioning it as a gifting option this festive season.
