
Amid the latest Donald Trump’s H-1B visa shocker, German Ambassador to India Dr Philipp Ackermann has welcomed Indian workers to Germany. He shared a video message on X (formerly Twitter). In his video message he stated that here is my call to the highly skilled Indians to Germany. In his message he also praised Germany’s migration policy and said that there are various job opportunities over here for skilled Indians. Sharing the video messsage, he wrote, ”Here is my call to all highly skilled Indians. Germany stands out with its stable migration policies, and with great job opportunities for Indians in IT, management, science and tech. Find your way to Germany to boost your career…”
In his video message, he said, “This is a good moment to talk about Indians working in Germany. Indians are among the top earners in Germany. Average Indian working in Germany earns more than average German worker in the country. And that’s pretty good news because a high salary means that Indians are contributing big times to our society and welfare. We believe in hard work and also in giving best jobs to the best people.”
About Germany’s Migration Policy
He further compared Germans migration policy to German car, Ackerman said, “Our migration policy works a bit like a German car. It’s reliable, modern and predictable. It will go in a straight line with no zig-zags, and you don’t have to fear a full break at a top speed. We do not change our rules fundamentally overnight. Highly skilled Indians are welcomed in Germany.”
China’s Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Guo Jiakun on Monday stressing the importance of cross-border talent exchange, said, “In a globalised world, cross-border flow of talents is instrumental in global technological and economic advancement. China welcomes talents from various sectors and fields across the world to come and find their footing in China for the progress of humanity and career success.”
