In the auditorium of Asthawan block, under the Chief Minister Women Employment Scheme, through video conferencing, an amount transfer program of ₹2,500 crore was conducted by the Chief Minister. This benefitted 25 lakh women beneficiaries, with each woman receiving ₹10,000 in her account.
Participation of Women Beneficiaries through Video Conferencing
On this occasion, 271 Jeevika Didis from Asthawan block participated in the video conferencing. Present at the venue were Asthawan Jeevika BPM Amresh Kumar Joshi, Asthawan Area Coordinator Aniruddh Kumar, and CC Cadre Indubala Didi, who together enabled all Jeevika women to view the video conferencing.
On this occasion, programs were organized in three CLFs and 158 village organizations across the entire block, in which about 21,000 women participated.
Women Celebrated the Event with Festive Spirit
All the women from the village organizations watched the program with great joy and expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for the initiatives taken in the direction of Jeevika and women empowerment.
The Didis celebrated the occasion like the Dussehra festival and expressed their happiness by organizing Rangoli and Mehndi competitions and showcasing their art by drawing pictures of cow rearing.
On this occasion, Block Development Officer Seema Kumari, Project Manager Amresh Kumar Joshi, Regional Coordinator Aniruddh Kumar Singh, Indubala Kumari, Community Coordinators Anita Kumari, Shikha Kumari, Sunita Kumari, Sarita Kumari, Ranjana Bharti, Rinku Kumari, along with hundreds of rural women were present.
