Sambhal (Uttar Pradesh): A late-night fight between a husband and wife in Sambhal district turned violent when the woman allegedly attacked her husband with a blade, leaving him seriously injured. The man, identified as Raju from the Gunnaur area, was rushed to a nearby hospital in a critical condition and later referred to Aligarh for advanced treatment.
Wife attacked husband
In this incident, the husband was seriously injured. During the event, hearing Raju’s screams, the family members reached the spot. Everyone was stunned after seeing his condition. In a hurry, he was taken to the Community Health Center in Gunnaur. From there, after initial treatment, he was referred to Jawaharlal Medical College, Aligarh.
Frequent quarrels between husband and wife
According to Raju’s family members, the couple used to quarrel frequently ever since their marriage. They often had disagreements. Considering the seriousness of the matter, an investigation is being conducted. Efforts are also being made to find out why the wife finally took such an extreme step. After the incident, the accused wife is under the police radar. In this regard, the police station in-charge inspector said that the matter is serious. The victim has been seriously injured and has been referred to Aligarh. The incident appears to have stemmed from a dispute between husband and wife. At present, the matter is under investigation.
