New Delhi: A unique theft has been reported from Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, which has grabbed people’s attention. Late Sunday night, thieves targeted the government residence of Assistant Engineer Sohan Jangid in the IGNP colony. The house was empty, the lock was broken, and the thief calmly collected valuables such as a laptop, TV, perfumes, and clothes, completely emptying the house.

But the most surprising thing was that after the theft, the thief wrote on the wall with lipstick, “You’ll waste your time going to the police station, Bihari Babu.” He also wrote on a piece of paper with a pen, “If you keep alcohol, keep some potato chips and snacks with it too.” The thief wrote, “Don’t report it, you forget me, I’ll forget you.”
The thief also wrote on the wall that he had eaten the homeowner’s food and enjoyed it, but was forced to commit theft for the first time out of desperation. He even wrote “Thank you” before leaving. Upon receiving information about the theft, the Kotwali police reached the spot, collected fingerprints, and are examining the footage from nearby CCTV cameras.

The victim, officer Sohan Jangid, said that he was out of town and only learned about the theft upon his return. He has handed over a list of stolen items to the police. Kotwali police station SHO Surja Ram confirmed that a theft had occurred in the IGNP colony. The thief stole several valuable items, including a TV, laptop, shirt, and coat, and wrote several messages on the wall and on pieces of paper. The police have registered a case and started an investigation, and hope to apprehend the thief soon.
