Mohali: A 24-year-old woman working at a private company in Punjab’s Mohali was allegedly stabbed to death on Thursday by her former boyfriend and colleague, who later attempted suicide, according to police officials.
Where did the incident happen?
The incident took place at the victim’s office. The deceased, who is identified as 30-year-old Dimple, a resident of Patiala, suffered multiple stab wounds and was rushed to Fortis Hospital, where doctors declared her dead. The accused, Harjinder Singh Mann (39), also known as Harry, who was reportedly in a relationship with her for more than three years, remains in critical condition.
The stabbing incident has been caught on CCTV cameras installed at the office.

According to the police investigation, the two were previously in a relationship but had parted ways around six months ago. As per reports, Harvinder had been trying to reconnect, while Dimple had distanced herself.

Police said that both worked for a private company that was engaged in packers and movers. They had been working together for about three years. During this time, they became friends, and things turned romantic. However, they broke up some time ago. After this, Harry harbored a grudge against Dimple.
As per reports, after the breakup, the accused, Harry, was devastated and became mentally disturbed. He tried to rekindle his relationship with Dimple, but it failed. This left him deeply distressed.
