New Delhi: Ai+ is now ready to add new models to its smartphone portfolio in the Indian market. Ai+ launched its first smartphones – the Nova 5G and Pulse – in India in July last year. Now, the company is bringing the Ai+ Pulse 2 as its new smartphone. The phone’s microsite is live on Flipkart, where the company has officially confirmed the phone’s design, color options, and some key features. The upcoming model looks stunning and will be launched in five colors. Currently, the company has not announced an official launch date for the upcoming Ai+ Pulse 2, but leaked reports suggest it could launch in India on February 24th. The company is also preparing to launch a flip-fold phone.
What did the company confirm?
On the Flipkart microsite, the company has confirmed some of its key features. According to the microsite, the phone will have a 50-megapixel AI dual rear camera setup. The phone will feature a waterdrop-style notch display for the selfie camera. It will pack a 6000mAh battery. It will come with an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. It will be powered by a 12nm Unsoc T7250 1.8GHz octa-core processor. It will run on Android 16.
On the microsite, the company has also teased other products in the Ai+ ecosystem, such as a tablet, smartwatch, and earbuds. The phone looks quite attractive. Its back panel will feature two finishes. The phone will feature a square-shaped camera module, which will house the lens and LED flash. The microsite teases the phone’s availability in pink, green, purple, blue, and black color options. The phone’s right side features an orange power button, and the volume buttons are located directly above it. The phone’s edges are rounded.
When will Ai+ Pulse 2 launch in India?
The Ai+ Pulse 2 could launch on February 24th. Tipster Debayan Roy shared in a post that the phone will feature a 6.7-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will feature a 50-megapixel main rear camera and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The phone’s 6,000mAh battery will support 18W fast charging. The phone is expected to be priced under ₹8,000. It will launch on February 24th alongside a smartwatch and earbuds. If this is true, the upcoming model will be more expensive than its predecessor, the Ai+ Pulse, which launched at a starting price of ₹4,999. It is said to come in two variants – 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB – and measure 165.72×76.7×8.5mm.
