Air India Express will start direct flights from Ranchi to several major cities from September 1. Passengers will be able to fly from Ranchi to Bhubaneswar, Visakhapatnam, Indore, Guwahati, and Trivandrum. According to RR Maurya, Director of Birsa Munda Airport, some flights will pass through major cities on the way—Mumbai for Bhubaneswar, Delhi for Indore, and Bengaluru for Guwahati and Trivandrum. The flight schedules have been slightly adjusted to make travel easier and more convenient for passengers.
Goa Flight Service from Ranchi in Final Phase
Meanwhile, Air India Express’s flight service from Ranchi to Goa is also in its final phase. The trial has been running for the past 15 days, but due to some technical reasons, this service could not commence from September 1.
There is a possibility that the Ranchi-Goa flight service will begin within September. This flight will transit through Mumbai on its way to Goa. This new connectivity will offer passengers better travel options and further enhance Birsa Munda Airport’s links with various parts of the country.
