AK-47-Wielding Crime Boss Uttam Yadav Shot Dead in Police Encounter in Jharkhand

The notorious criminal Uttam Yadav, who had become synonymous with terror in Hazaribagh and Chatra districts, was finally killed in a police encounter. Over the past few months, he had been carrying out criminal activities continuously and openly challenging the police administration.

According to information, Uttam Yadav was killed in an encounter with Hazaribagh police on the Bagra route in the Simaria police station area. Uttam Yadav was a resident of Surahi Mohalla in Chatra city and had been threatening local businessmen for extortion and levies for a long time.

It is noteworthy that about two months ago, Uttam Yadav had released a video holding an AK-47, in which he openly warned businessmen in Chatra and Hazaribagh that no one could conduct business without his permission. Following this, last month, he had ordered his henchmen to open fire on a jewelry shop in Hazaribagh city. This incident had created a sensation throughout the area.

After these incidents, Uttam Yadav remained on the police radar. Chatra police have confirmed his death in the encounter. According to police records, several serious cases were registered against Uttam Yadav. The Bihar government had even announced a reward of ₹50,000 on him.

The police have stated that after this action, crime in the area will be curbed, and businessmen will regain confidence in their safety.
