Aligarh: Aligarh Police has become alert regarding the proposed CJP movement at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar on Yamuna Expressway in Tappalkshetra police station of Aligarh. Since Saturday morning, an intensive checking campaign has been conducted by the police on the Yamuna Motorway located in Tappal police station area. Buses and cars passing through the expressway are being stopped and checked. In view of the agitation, the police are keeping a special watch on the movement of vehicles. Policemen are engaged in checking operation since morning on Yamuna Expressway in Tappal police station area.
During this time, vehicles passing through the expressway are being checked. Necessary investigation is being done by stopping buses and cars so that any suspicious activity can be monitored in time. Keeping in mind the proposed movement at Jantar Mantar, Tappal Police has increased surveillance on the expressway. This route is included in the major routes connecting Aligarh district to Delhi and surrounding areas. A large number of vehicles pass through this route every day. In such a situation, the police are emphasising maintaining security by checking the vehicles. During the checking campaign, police teams are keeping an eye on the vehicles coming and going. Due to this activeness of the police, vigilance is being seen regarding security arrangements on Yamuna Expressway.
The purpose of the investigation being conducted by the police in view of the agitation is to maintain law and order and to remain alert to deal with any possible situation. At present, the checking operation is going on on Yamuna Expressway in Thana Tappal area. Buses and cars are being checked by the police. Amid police vigilance regarding the agitation, vehicles passing through the expressway are being monitored.
