The Uttar Pradesh Housing and Development Council has completed the allocation of buildings and plots under two important housing schemes in Ghaziabad and Lucknow in a transparent manner. The draws held for semi-finished buildings in Ghaziabad and plots under the land-pooling policy in Lucknow upheld the standards of fairness and transparency.
Allocation of Semi-Finished Buildings in Ghaziabad
Online registration for 226 self-financed semi-finished buildings in Mandola Vihar Scheme, Sector-5A, Ghaziabad, was open from 17 July to 27 August 2025. Out of the 462 applications received during this period, 452 were found eligible. Today, through a draw held at the Central Market Hall of the Vasundhara Scheme, Sector-16, 175 buildings were allotted. This process is expected to generate revenue of approximately ₹2021.26 lakh for the Council.
The allocation process was conducted under the chairmanship of Anil Kumar Singh, Deputy Housing Commissioner of the Meerut Zone. Present on the occasion were Ghaziabad Property Manager P.S. Rawat, Baghpat Circle Superintendent Engineer Rakesh Chandra, Baghpat-2 Construction Division Assistant Engineer Dujai Ram, Junior Engineer Mayank, and the Naib Tehsildar as the representative of the District Magistrate of Ghaziabad.
Plot Allocation under Land-Pooling Policy in Lucknow
The allocation and numbering draw for plots under the land-pooling policy in Saumitra Vihar Scheme, Mohanlalganj, Lucknow, was held at Avadh Shilpgram, Avadh Vihar Scheme. In this process, plots of 40.74, 60, 75 and 122.23 square meters were allotted to landowners and farmers. The draw was conducted under the supervision of Deputy Housing Commissioner Chandan Kumar Patel. Tomorrow, 23 September 2025, the draw for 200 and 300 square meter plots in Saumitra Vihar Scheme will continue.
Upcoming Schemes
Keeping up the pace of the Uttar Pradesh Housing and Development Council, the allocation process will also be organized on Tuesday at 11:00 AM in Meerut and Jhansi. In Madhavpuram Scheme No.-10, Sector-4, Meerut, a lottery draw will be held at the Community Center, Sector-03, Jagriti Vihar Scheme, for 30 residential plots among 2029 applicants. Meanwhile, in Land Development and Home Site Scheme No.-3 of Jhansi, the allocation of 53 plots for 823 applicants will be conducted at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium, Jhonkhan Bagh, opposite Rani Laxmibai Park.
