A car dropped from the Mukarba Chowk flyover onto railway tracks on Sunday, according to police. Officials reached the area and found the car upside down on the tracks under the Ring Road, near Haiderpur Metro Station. The vehicle was soon taken away, and train operations stayed normal.

Driver sustains minor injuries

The driver was identified as Sachin Chaudhary (35), who lives in Pratap Vihar Railway Colony, Ghaziabad. He had small cuts on his shoulder and face but did not need to be admitted to hospital. Chaudhary told officers he was going from Peera Garhi to Ghaziabad when he lost control of his car on the part of the flyover over the railway lines. The car hit the side wall, went over the railing, slid down a grassy slope, and landed upside down on the tracks. He is currently undergoing a medical check-up. No one else was injured in the incident.

Unrelated abandoned bike found

Police also discovered a motorcycle left near the tracks since Saturday. No complaint or accident about the bike has been reported yet, and efforts are being made to find its owner. Authorities confirmed that the bike has no link to Sunday’s car mishap.
