On his South Korea visit, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai extended an invitation to ModernTech Corp., a prominent green mobility solutions provider, and UNECORAIL, a leading Korean rail maintenance company, to invest in and partner with Chhattisgarh. The Chief Minister stated that the state government’s priorities include promoting clean energy, developing sustainable transport infrastructure, and strengthening the railway network. He expressed confidence that partnerships with these two companies would accelerate Chhattisgarh’s clean energy journey and logistics infrastructure development.

The Chief Minister extended an invitation to ModernTech Corp. to invest in Chhattisgarh and suggested setting up a cutting-edge EV charging manufacturing facility in the state. He said that this project would give the state a new identity in the clean energy and sustainable transport sector.

EV Charging Manufacturing Unit

Chief Minister Sai stated that the state government’s Industrial Policy 2024–30 aligns with the goals of promoting green energy and reducing carbon emissions. He mentioned that setting up an EV charging manufacturing unit in Chhattisgarh would not only strengthen clean energy objectives but also provide the public with modern and improved transport infrastructure. The Chief Minister said this step would prove crucial in ensuring a clean environment for future generations. He also emphasized that this investment would create extensive employment opportunities for local youth, develop green technology skills in the state, and boost sustainable transport networks in both rural and urban areas. The Chief Minister expressed confidence that ModernTech Corp.’s experience and expertise would further accelerate Chhattisgarh’s energy transition journey.

National Hub for Green Energy

Officials present at the program stated that the proposed project would directly and indirectly generate employment for thousands and also promote local component manufacturing units. This would move Chhattisgarh toward becoming an emerging national hub in the field of green energy. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai assured representatives of ModernTech Corp. that the state government would provide all possible support to investors. He said, “Processes have been made simple and transparent so that investors can implement their projects quickly without any obstacles.”

Additionally, during his visit to South Korea, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai also met with Dong Pil Park, CEO of UNECORAIL, Korea’s leading rail maintenance solutions provider. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held between the Chief Minister and company representatives on possibilities for collaboration in local manufacturing, technology transfer, and railway infrastructure development.

Strengthening the Logistics Backbone

Chief Minister Sai emphasized that, considering Chhattisgarh’s swiftly expanding industrial and logistics demands, implementing advanced solutions in the railway sector is crucial. He expressed confidence that UNECORAIL’s experience and expertise would provide new direction in strengthening the state’s railway network, improving maintenance, and fortifying the logistics backbone. This would not only accelerate industrial activities but also provide safe and convenient transport services to the general public. The Chief Minister also said that, keeping the aspirations of Chhattisgarh’s people in mind, the government has made clean energy and sustainable development the focal point of its policies. He urged all investors to become partners in Chhattisgarh’s development and join this transformative journey to take the state to new heights.
