Around 11 kg of silver was reportedly stolen from a man’s scooter storage after a brief fight with two men in New Usmanpur, northeast Delhi, police said on Monday. The incident happened near JPC Hospital on Sunday.
Ramratan Aggarwal (22), a resident of Shahdara, told police that he was returning home on his scooter when his vehicle accidentally touched the scooter of the two accused. A short argument followed, and the men left after the confrontation, police said.
Police Investigate Theft
When Aggarwal reached home, he discovered that 11 kg of silver kept in the storage compartment of his scooter was missing, a senior police officer said. A case has been registered based on Aggarwal’s complaint. CCTV footage from the area is being examined to trace and identify the suspects, the officer added.
