New Delhi: An encounter took place between the Special Task Force (STF) and a notorious criminal on Saturday in Badarpur area of Delhi. During this time, the accused Mohammad Salim alias ‘Ganja’ was injured in the retaliatory action of the police, who was later arrested and admitted to the hospital. According to the police, Salim was wanted for a long time and several serious criminal cases were registered against him.

Police had received information that Salim was about to come to Badarpur area. Based on this input, STF laid a trap in the area. As soon as the police team tried to stop him, he tried to escape and opened fire. After this the police retaliated.

According to the police, more than 70 criminal cases are registered against Salim. These include murder, robbery, Arms Act and other serious crimes. He was out of police custody for a long time and was wanted in many cases.
