Delhi News:A sensational case has come to light from Delhi’s Mehrauli area. Here a man, suspecting his wife of infidelity, killed her and buried the body in a cemetery. The police have solved the murder mystery and arrested three accused, including the husband.

According to the police, the deceased has two children, an 11-year-old daughter and a 5-year-old son. On August 10, a woman had lodged a report about her friend’s disappearance in the Mehrauli police station. She suspected that her friend was forcibly detained somewhere. The police registered a case under sections of the IPC and started an investigation.

The husband turned out to be the accused

CCTV and technical surveillance were done in the investigation. It was revealed that on July 31, the woman was being taken in an unconscious state in a car by her husband, Shahab Ali, and two other people. When the police suspected something, they detained Shahab Ali and interrogated him rigorously. Only then did the matter come to light. The accused has confessed his crime.

Murder of wife by poisoning

Accused Shahab Ali said that he suspected his wife of having an illicit relationship with someone else. Due to this suspicion, he first gave her sleeping pills on 2 August and then killed her by giving her poisonous medicine. After this, with the help of his friends Tanhveer and Shahrukh, he buried the dead body of the deceased in the graveyard of Chandanhaula between the nights of 2 and 3 August.

The police exhumed the woman’s body from the grave after getting permission from the SDM on the basis of the accused’s information. The main accused, Shahab Ali (47), is a painter by profession and originally hails from the Amroha district of UP. His accomplices include Shahrukh Khan (28), who hails from Chandanhaula and is an electrician, and Tanveer (25), a painter who hails from the Araria district of Bihar. The police have also recovered the car used in the crime from Shahrukh. The search for another accused is on.
