Kharge accuses PM Modi of ‘vote theft’ to secure Bihar election win

Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge on Monday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of attempting to secure victory in the upcoming Bihar Assembly polls through “vote theft”. He also appealed to citizens to remain cautious in order to protect their voting rights, warning that otherwise, “Modi and Amit Shah will sink you.”

Kharge’s sharp attack on PM Modi

“Modi has a habit of stealing. He steals votes, he steals money, and the BJP protects those who escaped abroad after looting Indian banks,” Kharge said at a public meeting on the final day of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Voter Adhikar Yatra. PM is trying to grab Bihar Poll results through vote theft. You must stay vigilant. If you fail to remain alert, Modi and Shah will drown you,” he added.

Call to protect voting rights

Kharge further reminded people that after Independence, Baba Saheb Ambedkar, Jawaharlal Nehru, and Mahatma Gandhi gave citizens the right to vote. “We cannot afford to lose this right. We must fight strongly and remove the threat hanging over our voting rights,” he said. The 16-day Voter Yatra concluded today in Patna. The march was primarily aimed at opposing the Special Intensive Revision conducted by the Election Commission of India in Bihar and at backing Rahul Gandhi’s recent allegation of “vote theft” against the ECI.

Rahul Gandhi’s criticism of Modi

Earlier on Monday, Rahul Gandhi mocked Prime Minister Modi’s China trip, saying the slogan “Vote Chor, Gaddi Chhod” is not just being raised in India but has also reached Beijing. ‘Vote Chor Gaddi Chhod’ – this is a new slogan in Bihar. Even in China and the, people are saying, ‘Vote Chor, Gaddi Chhod,’ Congress Leader Rahul told the media. He further asserted that he would expose a “hydrogen bomb” related to the Election Commission’s voter list process in Bihar. I’m giving BJP leaders a clear warning: listen carefully. He stated, “You have already witnessed the atom bomb regarding vote theft; now you will witness the hydrogen bomb regarding this issue.

Fight to save the Constitution

Rahul Gandhi claimed that the very forces responsible for Mahatma Gandhi’s assassination are now attempting to dismantle the Constitution. We will never allow them to kill the Constitution. Bihar is a land of revolution, and it has sent a message to the nation – we will not let vote theft happen,” he said. The 16-day march, headed by Rahul Gandhi to draw attention to alleged flaws in the voter list and “vote theft” by the BJP, came to an end in Patna today. Several leaders from the INDIA alliance participated in different stages of the rally, including Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, CPI(ML) leader Dipankar Bhattacharya, Congress’s Priyanka Gandhi, and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin.
