Manoj Bajpayee reunites with Ram Gopal Varma for horror comedy ‘Police Station Mein Bhoot’; shooting begins
Actor Manoj Bajpayee has joined hands once again with filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma after almost thirty years for the horror comedy Police Station Mein Bhoot.

Shooting officially begins

Sharing the update on his X account, Manoj revealed that filming has started today. He expressed joy about working with Ram Gopal Varma again after their classic Satya and called it a “full circle” moment in his career. “SHOOT BEGINS. From Satya to now. Some journeys are meant to come full circle. Excited to work with @RGVzoomIn after nearly three decades for our new horror comedy Police Station Mein Bhoot. This one is special,” wrote Manoj Bajpayee.

A look back at ‘Satya’

The actor earlier worked with Varma on the highly praised film Satya. Alongside Manoj, the movie featured JD Chakravarthy, Urmila Matondkar and Paresh Rawal in important roles. The film came out in 1998 and is still remembered for its strong performances. In Satya, Manoj played a brave policeman who never backed down while fighting injustice.

Playing a cop again

In this upcoming film, Manoj is also expected to play a police officer. But unlike their earlier crime drama, this time the story will blend horror with comedy, bringing a fresh twist to their collaboration. Manoj will also be seen soon in the OTT film Inspector Zende, where he stars alongside Jim Sarbh. The movie will premiere on Netflix from September 5, 2025. In this project too, he takes on the role of a cop.
