
Bihar: Bihar politics made history once again on Thursday, with Nitish Kumar becoming the state’s Chief Minister for the tenth time. Nitish Kumar was sworn in as Chief Minister in a grand ceremony held at Patna’s historic Gandhi Maidan. Along with him, 18 cabinet ministers and two deputy chief ministers also took the oath of office and secrecy.
Before the formation of the new government, Nitish Kumar submitted his resignation to Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, as the term of the current assembly expires on November 22. The resignation paved the way for the formation of the 18th assembly, which formally began with the swearing-in of the new cabinet.

Veteran leaders from across the country attended the swearing-in ceremony.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP President JP Nadda, along with other prominent leaders, attended this historic ceremony. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, and Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio were also present.

According to reports, the three-day session of the newly formed assembly will begin on November 26. During this period, the Speaker and Deputy Speaker will be elected and the new members will be sworn in.
NDA gets massive mandate
The NDA performed strongly in the 243-seat Bihar Assembly, winning 202 seats. Of these, the BJP secured 89, the JDU 85, the LJP (RV) 19, the HAM (S) 5, and the RLM 4.
