Noida’s Bisrakh Police have solved the mystery of a theft at a jewelry shop. Following a police encounter late Friday night, three accused were arrested, two of whom were injured by police gunfire. Approximately six lakh rupees worth of gold and silver jewelry, the car used in the crime, and illegal weapons were recovered from the possession of the arrested suspects.
The incident actually took place on the night of September 13, when a jewelry shop located in Aimanabad Market in the Bisrakh area was broken into and robbed. After the case was registered, the police formed several teams. Late Friday night, the police received information that the suspects involved in the theft were roaming the area in a car.
During checking at AS City Golchakkar, the police attempted to stop the suspicious car, but the suspects fled, and upon pursuit, they opened fire on the police team. In the retaliatory action, two miscreants, Sonu and Gaurav, were injured in the leg by gunfire. Meanwhile, their female accomplice, Kajal, was caught during a combing operation.
During interrogation, the accused admitted that they had committed the theft at the Aimanabad Market shop and were going to sell the jewelry. The police recovered approximately six lakh rupees worth of gold and silver ornaments, a WagonR car, and two pistols from their possession. The injured miscreants have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
Police officials stated that the search for the other accomplices of the accused is ongoing. This operation is being considered a major success for the Bisrakh Police, as it not only solved the jewelry theft but also arrested armed miscreants.
