Pakistani Woman Appeals PM Modi For Justice As Husband Plans Second Marriage In Delhi

Indore: In a shocking incident, a Pakistani woman has allegedly that her husband has abandoned her in Karachi and now secretly planning to marry for the second time in Delhi. Identified as Nikita Nagdev, the woman has shared a video on the social media platform and urged for justice from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Who is Nikita?

The woman has claimed that she has been abandoned by her husband. Through her video, Nikita, revealed that she married Vikram Nagdev, a Pakistani-origin man. Nikita, who is a resident of Karachi, alleged that Vikram is living in Indore on a long-term visa, on January 26, 2020, in Karachi, as per the Hindu rituals. She further claimed that a month later, Vikram brought her to India on February 26.

Nikita claimed that on July 9, 2020, her husband abandoned her at the Attari border stating “visa technicality” reasons and then forced her to move to Pakistan. She further stated her husband has never tried to bring her back. In an emotional video message, she said, “I kept requesting him to call me to India, but he refused every time.”

Nikita, in her video further requested, “If justice is not served today, women will lose faith in justice. Many girls face physical and mental abuse in their marital homes. I request everyone to stand with me.”

She continued to state, “When I returned to my in-laws’ home from Pakistan, their behaviour completely changed. I learned my husband was having an affair with one of my relatives. When I told my father-in-law, he said, ‘Boys have affairs, nothing can be done.'”

What she revealed about her husband’s affair?

She claimed, “When I returned to my in-laws’ home from Pakistan, their behaviour completely changed. I learned my husband was having an affair with one of my relatives. When I told my father-in-law, he said, ‘Boys have affairs, nothing can be done.’”

Seeking justice, Nikita further stated that during the COVID-19 lockdown, she was forced by her husband to move back to Pakistan, and she is now being refused entry into India. “Every woman deserves justice in India,” she stated.

It is to be noted here that earlier in May, Nikita stated the issue to the Indore Social Panchayat, which then recommended the deportation of Vikram. Collector Ashish Singh stated that an inquiry had been ordered and action would also be taken on the basis of the investigation.
