Noida: Central Noida Police has expanded its women’s safety network with the inauguration of a new Pink Booth at the C-Block police post in Sector 63 on Tuesday. DCP Women Safety Suniti inaugurated the facility, which is the 31st Pink Booth in the district.

Staffed by women police personnel, the booth is intended to provide working women with an accessible place to report concerns and seek timely assistance, particularly in the busy industrial area.

How Will the New Booth Help Women?

The facility is equipped to receive complaints related to harassment, molestation and other safety concerns. Women will be able to approach the booth directly instead of having to travel to a police station for every issue.

It will also offer facilities for breastfeeding and resting, making it more convenient for women visiting the centre with young children. The initiative aims to make police assistance more approachable and responsive to women’s everyday needs.

Sector 63’s Industrial Activity Makes Local Support Important

Sector 63 is a major industrial hub, with more than 1,500 companies and factories. According to the information shared about the initiative, around 200,000 to 225,000 people travel through the area each day, including a significant number of women commuting to work.

The new booth is expected to serve as a nearby point of contact for women employed in the area, helping them raise concerns and access police support more conveniently.

Police Plan to Expand the Network Further

DCP Women Safety Suniti said that 30 Pink Booths had been established at different locations across the district over the past three years. Areas with a substantial presence of women have been given priority while selecting locations.

Police are also planning to open additional booths in the coming months. ACP Diksha Singh, the Sector 63 police station in-charge and other police personnel attended the inauguration.
