New Delhi: Redmi is preparing to introduce a new phone soon for smartphone buyers. Much important information has come to light regarding the company’s upcoming Redmi K100. The biggest feature of this phone will be its 10,000mAh battery. The company claims that on a single charge it will provide the opportunity to watch videos, play games and listen to music for a long time. Apart from this, the phone is also expected to have features like high refresh rate display, powerful Snapdragon processor and fast charging.
How big a battery will be available in Redmi K100?
The most talked about Redmi K100 is its 10,000 mAh battery. According to the available information, this will be the first smartphone of Xiaomi in which such a big battery will be provided. The company has used its new Jinshajiang battery technology for this.
According to the company, this battery has 28 percent silicon-carbon content and energy density of 957Wh/L. Its purpose is to store more energy in less space. The company claims that the phone has been designed to deliver stable performance even in temperatures as low as minus 20 degrees Celsius.
How long will the phone last on a single charge?
The company has made many big claims regarding the battery of Redmi K100. According to Xiaomi President Lu Weibing, the phone can do up to 29 hours of short video playback and 24 hours of live streaming on a single charge. At the same time, it has been claimed to get up to 47 hours of battery backup for listening to music.
Apart from this, the phone is said to have the facility of navigation for 18 hours and reading facility for 46 hours. The company also claims that up to 1,000 short drama episodes can be watched on the phone. However, actual battery backup will depend on conditions such as usage, network and screen brightness.
How quickly will the phone charge with 100W fast charging?
With a big battery, the time taken to charge it is also important. Redmi K100 is reported to support 100W wired fast charging. Along with this, 27W wired reverse charging will also be available, so that the phone can be used to charge other devices.
Bypass charging feature will also be provided in the phone. This feature can be especially useful during gaming, as it can provide power directly to the phone’s system and helps reduce extra strain on the battery.
Why will Redmi K100 display be special for gamers?
According to the report, 6.83 inch display can be given in Redmi K100. Its refresh rate can be up to 165Hz and peak brightness up to 3,500 nits. Apart from this, information about 480Hz multi-finger touch support has also been revealed.
The company claims that more than 40 games can be played at up to 165fps on this phone. The high refresh rate and fast touch response can help make the screen smoother while gaming.
Will the phone be equipped with Snapdragon processor and HyperOS 4?
According to the information shared by the company, Snapdragon 8 Elite processor will be provided in Redmi K100. It is also said to be equipped with D2 gaming display chip, which can help in improving graphics and frame rate during gaming.
For software, the phone is expected to get HyperOS 4. A horizontal camera module can be provided on its rear panel. Bose-tuned audio branding is also shown along with the camera design.
