Bihar is on high alert after intelligence agencies on Thursday reported that three Pakistani terrorists linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed entered the state through Nepal. The suspects have been identified as Hasnain Ali from Rawalpindi, Adil Hussain from Umarkot, and Mohammad Usman from Bahawalpur. Following the inputs, Bihar Police has alerted all border districts, advised SPs to stay cautious, and ordered strict monitoring of CCTV cameras along the Nepal border.

Terrorists’ Activities

It has been reported that these terrorists reached Kathmandu in the second week of August and infiltrated Bihar last week. There are apprehensions that these terrorists are plotting to carry out terrorist incidents in any part of the country.

Police Action

The police have made public the names and photographs of the three terrorists. Information related to their passports has also been shared. It is being said that these terrorists reached Kathmandu in the second week of August and entered Bihar through the Nepal border in the third week. There is a suspicion that they were planning to execute a major incident. Vigilance has been increased in the border districts of Sitamarhi, Madhubani, West Champaran, Araria, Kishanganj, and Supaul.

Security in View of Assembly Polls

In view of the Assembly elections in Bihar, the police and security agencies are on alert. The Police Headquarters has appealed to the general public to immediately inform the police about any suspicious person or activity. The Police Headquarters has instructed all districts to activate their intelligence networks for information gathering and to take appropriate action against suspected terrorists.
