Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU) has announced a revised schedule for the third round of NEET UG 2025 counseling. According to the new schedule, the last date for registration and fee submission has been set as October 17, 2025. Eligible candidates can apply for Uttarakhand counseling by visiting the university’s official website: hnbumu.ac.in. After completing the registration process, candidates will need to select their preferred courses and colleges. The last date to fill and lock choices is also October 17. Candidates who are already registered and wish to upgrade their seats must fill out a new registration form, but they will not need to pay the fee again.
New Seats Added in Colleges
The university informed that, as per the directions of the National Medical Commission (NMC), 50 new MBBS seats have been added at Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical and Health Sciences, Dehradun. These seats have been included in the Round-3 seat matrix following a request from the principal. Candidates have been advised to include these new seats in their choice preferences.
Seat Surrender Deadline Extended
Additionally, the last date for seat surrender for candidates who have already taken admission in the first or second round of counseling has been extended to October 16, 2025, 5:00 PM. The university clarified that this facility has been provided due to the extension of the third round counseling period by MCC. No candidate will be allowed to surrender a seat after this deadline. With this revision, candidates now have ample time to select and upgrade their seats. HNBUMU has urged all eligible students to complete the registration, choice filling, and locking process on the website on time to avoid any issues in Round-3 counseling.
