Gurugram: A case of death of a 36-year-old employee of a multinational company under suspicious circumstances has come to light in Gurugram, Haryana. The employee’s body was found hanging in his house. Police have detained his wife for preliminary questioning, while family members are fearing murder and demanding a fair investigation. Police say that further action will be taken on the basis of postmortem report and other evidence.

The deceased has been identified as Sanjeev Yadav, who lived with his family in Surat Nagar area of Gurugram and worked as an associate operator in a multinational company. His wife and seven-year-old son were present in the house at the time of the incident. According to the police, the wife called the family members and informed them about the incident, after which the police reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem.
Why did the family members accuse him of murder?
Sanjeev’s family alleges that there was a dispute going on between the husband and wife for some time and there was also tension regarding divorce. The family members claim that Sanjeev could not have taken a step like suicide and the case should also be investigated from the angle of murder. On the basis of these allegations, the police have detained the wife for questioning.

The most sensitive aspect of the case is that during the incident, the seven-year-old son had recorded the video from the mobile phone. The police have taken possession of the video for investigation and its forensic investigation is being conducted.
