For this, IndiGo Airlines has also started booking flight tickets. Passengers will be able to complete the journey between Purnia and Kolkata in just 70 minutes. Flight services between the two cities will be available three days a week. The airport will be handed over to the public on September 15.

With the opening of this airport, people from Seemanchal, bordering West Bengal, and those traveling to Nepal will benefit. A few days ago, flight services from Purnia to Ahmedabad were announced. Now, flight services from Purnia to the capital of West Bengal, Kolkata, have been announced.
Purnia to Kolkata Flight
IndiGo Airlines has started booking flight tickets between Purnia and Kolkata. In a statement issued on Tuesday, IndiGo Airlines stated that flights between Purnia and Kolkata will operate three days a week: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. IndiGo’s flight number 6E 7924 will depart from Purnia Airport at 12:30 PM and reach Kolkata at 1:40 PM. The distance between the two cities will be covered in just 70 minutes.
Know the Minimum Fare
The return flight from Kolkata will depart at 2:30 PM and reach Purnia at 3:40 PM. IndiGo’s return flight number will be 6E 7925. IndiGo Airlines has started booking flights on the Purnia-Kolkata route on its official website. Tickets for the flight are also showing available from Monday, September 15. The minimum fare from Purnia to Kolkata is ₹3,115. With the opening of Purnia Airport, traffic management will also be streamlined.
