An uproar broke out during the Disha meeting held in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. Former minister and Ranchi MLA C.P. Singh and SSP Chandan Kumar Sinha clashed with each other. After this, there was chaos in the ATI auditorium. In fact, MLA C.P. Singh accused Ranchi’s SSP of bias in encroachment removal and issuing challans.
He also said that Chandan Kumar Sinha takes action by looking at caste and religion, leaving out a particular community. After this, the SSP got angry. A debate broke out between the two right on the stage. As the situation escalated, Sanjay Seth, Ranchi’s MP and Union Minister of State for Defence stepped in and pacified both parties.
What did MLA C.P. Singh say?
Ranchi’s BJP MLA C.P. Singh said that encroachment is being removed in the capital Ranchi. Action is being taken at various places. But on the Main Road there is no courage to ever take action; action is being taken by looking at religion. Action is being taken by looking at religion and sect. The cupboards of poor people’s shops are taken away, but on the Main Road nothing like this is seen.
The Disha meeting was attended by Ranchi MP and Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth, Ranchi MLA C.P. Singh, Hatia MLA Naveen Jaiswal, Mandar MLA and Agriculture Minister Shilpi Neha Tirkey, Rajya Sabha MPs Aditya Sahu and Deepak Prakash, along with Ranchi’s Deputy Commissioner, the SSP, and several other public representatives.
