The Bihar Assembly election campaign is currently in full swing in the state. Several prominent leaders from the NDA and the All India Mahagathbandhan are holding a flurry of rallies. Union Minister Amit Shah also arrived in Bihar on Wednesday (October 29) to campaign. He addressed a public meeting in Samastipur and sharply criticized the RJD. Shah clearly stated that the NDA’s victory in the state is certain.
Addressing the public, Amit Shah said that Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rahul Gandhi’s game will be over by 1 pm on November 14th. He said that Lalu and Rahul will be wiped out by 1 pm. He said that counting of votes will begin at 8 am on the 14th, ballot boxes will be opened at 9 am, and by 1 pm, Lalu and Rahul’s game will be over.
‘NDA is like the ‘five Pandavas’…’
The Union Minister also drew parallels between the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the Mahabharata. He said the NDA is like the “five Pandavas.” He praised the unity within the alliance. “This election is not about making our candidates MLAs or ministers. This election is about freeing Bihar from the jungle raj. All five of our allies in the NDA are fighting this election together, like the five Pandavas,” he said.
‘NDA’s victory in the electoral battle is certain’
He emphasized that the NDA in Bihar has the support of Prime Minister Modi, the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the youthful energy of Chirag Paswan, the lifelong dedication of Jitan Ram Manjhi, and the experience of Upendra Kushwaha. He said that even though they (the opposition) are outnumbered, like the Pandavas in the great battle, the NDA is certain to win this electoral battle.
The Union Minister also praised the large crowds that gathered at his rally in Samastipur. He said that he has traveled throughout the state and has seen similar crowds everywhere. “I have toured the entire Bihar and I have seen huge crowds everywhere,” Shah said. He added that the NDA is receiving overwhelming public support everywhere.
Shah attacks opposition on nepotism
Earlier today, Amit Shah took a dig at the All India Mahagathbandhan (Mahagathbandhan) in Darbhanga, saying it prioritizes family members for leadership positions over capable political leaders. He compared this to the BJP fielding 25-year-old Maithili Thakur. Addressing a public rally in Darbhanga, Shah said, “We gave a ticket to 25-year-old Maithili Thakur, who has no political background. Can this ever happen in the RJD or Congress? Lalu Yadav wants his son (Tejashwi Yadav) to be the Chief Minister, and Sonia Gandhi wants Rahul Gandhi to be the Prime Minister.”
