Congress President admits all is not well in Karnataka! Kharge says he will talk to both parties in Delhi

The turmoil within the Karnataka Congress is no secret. Mallikarjun Kharge himself has now acknowledged the power-sharing crisis. He has summoned Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, and other senior leaders to Delhi to discuss the issue. This is the first time the Congress high command has publicly acknowledged the internal problems in Karnataka, raising hopes of resolving the leadership impasse in the state.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Deputy CM DK Shivakumar, and other leaders would be summoned to Delhi for discussions. This marked the first time the high command has officially acknowledged the party’s problems in Karnataka.
The Congress high command is not alone. It is a team. The high command will sit together and discuss and make the right decision. Rahul Gandhi will also be present at that meeting. Kharge said, “We will discuss what to do next and make a decision.”

Kharge reached Karnataka after Rahul’s message

On Wednesday itself, Rahul Gandhi sent a message to Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, saying, “Please wait.” Mallikarjun Kharge then returned to Bengaluru. After arriving, he spoke with Rahul Gandhi on the phone for about 25 minutes. It is now believed that the Karnataka issue may be resolved soon by the high command.

What did Mallikarjun Kharge say?

For the past few days, the BJP has been continuously taunting the Congress party over the infighting in Karnataka. Yesterday, the BJP shared a video on its social media page regarding this matter. Congress leader Randeep Surjewala has now stated that the rumors circulating are all BJP propaganda. He said that some people are deliberately spreading propaganda against the state government.
