Hisar: Hisar Police have stepped up foot patrols across all police station jurisdictions to strengthen law and order and improve public safety. Personnel are being deployed in busy markets, major intersections and other sensitive locations under the directions of Superintendent of Police Siddhant Jain, IPS.
The initiative is aimed at increasing police visibility, building public confidence and keeping a close watch on suspicious activities and anti-social elements. During patrols, officers are monitoring conditions in markets and public spaces to identify potential trouble and help prevent untoward incidents.
Closer monitoring of suspicious activities
Police officials said the increased presence on foot would also encourage direct interaction between officers and residents. Personnel are expected to listen to people’s concerns, assess local situations and respond to suspicious behaviour in their respective areas.
The exercise is intended to strengthen coordination between the police and the public while helping authorities keep track of individuals involved in criminal activities or attempts to disturb public order.
