Jerusalem: Amid rising tensions in West Asia, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has issued a strong warning to Iran, saying it will face a severe response if it launches another attack on Israel. He made it clear that Israel will not remain silent or respond in the same manner as it has in the past.
What did Benjamin Netanyahu say?
Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Israel’s military and security agencies are fully prepared to deal with any situation.
Israeli Prime Minister also released a stern warning for the Iranian leadership, stating, “Don’t count on there being silence if you attack us. Don’t count on a replay; it will be a different broadcast–one far more powerful”.
According to a statement issued by the PMO, Netanyahu, while addressing the Negev Conference held in the southern city of Dimona, said, “We are prepared for any scenario. I can tell you only one thing, and I will say this to the leaders of Iran: Do not count on it being quiet if you attack us.”
“Do not count on a rerun. Because it will not be a rerun, and that was already powerful enough. This will be a different event, much more powerful,” he said.
Israel’s warning comes at a time of rising tensions in West Asia, with military activity once again intensifying after a ceasefire was broken in recent days.
Did Iran fire missiles at Bahrain?
Bahrain claimed that its air defense system destroyed several missile and drone attacks launched by Iran targeting civilian areas mid-air on Tuesday morning. The General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force said that its army successfully thwarted all the attacks with full preparation. Bahrain alleged that Iran is continuously targeting civilian areas. It said that attacking civilian structures with missiles and drones is a serious violation of international humanitarian law.
