Vrindavan: A Class 9 student died after falling from the sixth floor of a tower at Hare Krishna Orchid Society on Sunrakh Road in Vrindavan on Saturday evening. The teenager was rushed to a hospital in critical condition, where doctors declared him dead.
Police reached the spot after receiving information about the incident and initiated an investigation. CCTV footage from the residential complex and surrounding areas is being examined to establish how the teenager entered the gated society and the circumstances leading to his death.
The deceased was identified as Raj, a resident of Refinery. He was studying in Class 9 at Delhi Public School. His father, Yogesh Gautam, is employed as a driver with the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) unit at Refinery.
What Happened Before the Incident?
According to the information available, following a family dispute, Raj’s mother, Neetu, arrived at her sister’s residence in Sunrakh at around 3 pm on Saturday with Raj and her 17-year-old daughter.
At approximately 4 pm, Raj reportedly left the house to go outside but did not return.
When he remained missing for an extended period, his maternal uncle, Saurabh Gautam, went out to search for him. While approaching Hare Krishna Orchid Society, he learnt that a teenager had fallen from a height and had been taken to a hospital.
Upon reaching the hospital, he came to know about the incident involving Raj.
Meanwhile, after being alerted by society staff, police inspected the site and began investigating the circumstances surrounding the teenager’s death.
How Did the Teenager Enter the Gated Society?
Police are examining several questions, including how Raj entered the residential complex despite its gate reportedly being closed, how he reached the sixth floor and the circumstances surrounding the fall.
Investigators are reviewing CCTV footage from cameras installed in and around the society to reconstruct the sequence of events.
While a possible suicide angle is being examined, police have not reached a definitive conclusion. Officials have stated that the circumstances will become clear only after all aspects of the incident have been investigated
