New Delhi: The silence of the night, the darkness blanketing the streets, and the lurking threat of crime—yet, in Delhi’s North-West District, the vigilance of the police ensures that every move of anti-social elements is monitored. Prioritizing citizen safety, the North-West District Police launched a special night patrol campaign across the district, deploying ‘Pink Patrol’ staff alongside additional police forces. The objective is clear: to curb crime, keep a close watch on anti-social elements, and instill a sense of security among the public. Under the supervision of North-West District DCP Akanksha Yadav, specialized police teams are conducting continuous surveillance in parks, residential colonies, busy thoroughfares, and areas considered sensitive from a crime perspective. By increasing police presence and monitoring suspicious activities, the force aims to take timely action to prevent criminal incidents.

**Robust Security with ‘Pink Patrol’**

The participation of ‘Pink Patrol’ staff is a key component of this initiative by the North-West District Police. The special night patrol drive emphasizes strengthening security arrangements in public spaces and residential areas. The deployment of additional forces has expanded the patrol’s reach, ensuring an active police presence in areas prone to crime.

The police’s objective extends beyond merely taking action after a crime occurs; it aims to minimize the potential for crime through vigilant monitoring and regular patrols. To this end, police operations are being continuously carried out across various parts of the district. This proactive stance by the North-West District Police is part of ongoing efforts to provide a safe environment for citizens. The force remains focused on maintaining law and order, keeping a close watch on anti-social elements, and ensuring the safety of the general public.
