New Delhi: In response to the growing demand for SUVs in the Indian market, companies are constantly introducing new models. Meanwhile, the Hyundai Bayon is gaining attention for its distinctive design and modern features. This SUV is larger than the Venue and slightly wider than the Creta. Its design may appeal to those who want a spacious car with a stylish look.

The Hyundai Bayon is built on the company’s global K platform. It features L-shaped DRLs, LED headlights, sporty cladding, and 17-inch alloy wheels. The SUV has a ground clearance of 205mm, which helps it navigate rough terrain.

These features can be found in Hyundai Bayon

The SUV ‘s cabin is quite modern. The dashboard features a 12.3-inch digital driver display and a large touchscreen infotainment system. Features include a 360-degree camera, front seat ventilation, a panoramic sunroof, an electric parking brake, and an electrically adjustable driver’s seat. It also features a Blind View Monitor and Level-2 ADAS. These technologies are designed to monitor surroundings while driving and assist the driver in certain difficult situations. The touchscreen also features an AI assistant that can understand regional languages.

How much will be the space?

A major highlight of the Hyundai Bayon is its 505-liter boot space. This means it can accommodate several bags and essentials for family trips. Rear passengers are also said to have good legroom and shoulder room. The rear seats have a recline feature, allowing passengers to adjust their seating position to suit their needs. However, unlike the Creta, it lacks some features like rear window sunblinds and a powered boot release.

Power will be provided by a 1.5-litre petrol engine

The Hyundai Bayon is powered by a 1.5-liter, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 115 bhp. It’s available with a choice of a 6-speed manual and an iVT automatic gearbox. The automatic model also features paddle shifters and a boost mode, which can help accelerate quickly when needed. Currently, there are no diesel, turbo-petrol, hybrid, or CNG engine options.
