Patna: The hearing on the anticipatory bail plea of renowned teacher and director of Khan Global Studies Faizal Khan alias Khan Sir was completed in Patna Civil Court on Wednesday. After hearing the arguments of both parties, the court of District and Sessions Judge Rupesh Kumar Dev reserved the decision. The court will now give its order in this case on July 10. On the same day, the decision will also be taken on the bail petitions of other accused named in the case and the two security guards.
Khan sir is involved in which case?
This case is related to the dispute and firing between two coaching institutes in Musallahpur Haat area on the night of June 2. Kadamkuan police station started investigation after the video of the incident went viral on social media. After this an FIR was registered against Khan sir, his two security personnel and others.
What was the debate in the court?
During the hearing, the defence demanded anticipatory bail and said that the allegations were baseless and cooperation was being given in the investigation. The bail was opposed by the complainant side. His argument was that complete details of Faizal Khan’s alleged criminal background were not given in the petition. On this issue, the court had earlier directed to present the relevant documents.
What is the status of other accused?
Apart from Khan sir, his associates Ajit Kumar, Kanhaiya Kumar Singh and Ankit Kumar Pandey have also moved the court for anticipatory bail. Both the security guards arrested in the case are currently lodged in Beur jail and the hearing on their regular bail petition has also been completed.

After completion of the arguments of both parties, the court has reserved the decision. Now all eyes are on July 10, when the court will decide whether Khan sir and other accused will get anticipatory bail or not.
