Indore: After the recent fire incident in Delhi’s Malviya Nagar, which claimed the lives of 2 people, now Madhya Pradesh’s Indore city has witnessed a fatal fire incident on Friday.
What happen in Indore?
Major fire incidents are being reported in various cities across the country. Earlier, in the morning, a fire broke out on the 12th floor of a society in Noida’s Sector 75. Following this, a fire has now been reported in Indore, the economic capital of Madhya Pradesh.
A fire broke out at an Electric Vehicle (EV) showroom in Indore, trapping residents who lived on the upper floors of the mixed-use building. Over 20 people from six families were rescued from the incident on Friday.
According to reports, the incident occurred around 8 am near Khalsa Chowk in the Lasudia area. The fire started in the EV showroom located on the ground floor of the apartment complex.
Police and fire brigade teams, aided by neighbours, used ladders and ropes to bring them down.
What is the reason for the incident?
In this accident, which occurred near Khalsa Chowk in the Lasudia police station area, police and fire brigade teams, with the help of neighbours, safely rescued the trapped people using ladders and ropes. Initial investigations indicate a short circuit caused the accident. The fire brigade brought the fire under control with the help of two water tankers. There were no casualties reported in the accident.
