NTA Under Fire; Students Face Glitches To Download NEET UG Re-Exam Admit Card

New Delhi: Admit cards have been issued for candidates appearing for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) re-exam, scheduled for June 21, but many students are experiencing technical difficulties downloading them. Candidates said that the process of verifying bank account information is not being completed, preventing them from downloading admit cards.

What did NTA say?

After releasing the admit cards for the re-exam NEET (UG), the National Testing Agency (NTA) has acknowledged technical glitches on its portal.

In an official statement, NTA said that approximately 4 lakh candidates have already downloaded their hall tickets, but flagged that a significant number of students continue to face technical glitches and server overload errors while attempting to access the NTA portal.

“We are aware that some of you are facing technical glitches or server issues in accessing your admit cards. Our teams have been working towards resolving all these issues,” the agency said.

What did the students say?

On the social media platform X, students said that they have submitted their bank details, but due to a server issue, the bank details are not being submitted, the admit card is not being downloaded, and even when the information is submitted again, it is not being accepted.

What documents are needed?

The NTA has advised students to prepare the necessary bank details in advance and to be patient while completing the process. The agency has also released helpline numbers to resolve issues.

According to the NTA, students should have their full name, bank account number, IFSC code, and a scanned copy of a canceled check ready before accessing the portal. This will reduce the time required to update information and minimize errors.
