What happen in Pahalgam?
On April 22, 2025, Pakistan-backed terrorists opened fire on a group of tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, killing 25 tourists and one local pony handler. Following the incident, India on May 7 launched ‘Operation Sindoor’, targeting Lashkar and Jaish terrorist hideouts in Pakistan. Now, a year later, India is once again remembering and mourning the loss of lives.
Under this, the Indian Armed Forces carried out highly coordinated and precise strikes, successfully targeting and destroying several terrorist headquarters and launchpads located across the border.
