New Delhi: Royal Enfield has launched the Classic 650 125th Anniversary Edition Hypershift to mark its 125th anniversary. This limited edition bike is priced at ₹425,589 (ex-showroom, India). It features a distinctive color scheme, distinctive badging, and a premium design. It’s worth noting that the company will only produce 125 units per country.
Consequently, this bike could be a great addition to Royal Enfield fans and those with a collection of unique motorcycles. Registrations for this bike began on October 16, 2026, at 2:00 PM. The registration process will continue until October 28, 2026, when sales will begin. According to the company, deliveries are expected to begin in November 2026.
Color changing bike
The Classic 650 Anniversary Edition’s most distinctive feature is its Hypershift paint job. Depending on the lighting and viewing angle, the paint job appears to shift between red, green, and gold. This paint scheme blends a nod to the company’s legacy colors with a modern design.
Notably, the bike retains the Classic 650’s regular look. It features a teardrop-shaped fuel tank and a nacelle design around the headlamp. Its brass base finish is reminiscent of the company’s early motorcycles, introduced in 1901.
Additionally, the bike features a special 125-year logo, distinctive side-panel badging, and hand-painted pinstripes. It also features a premium quilted leather seat. These changes distinguish it from the regular Classic 650.
No change in engine and features
The new Anniversary Edition features unchanged engine and mechanical components. It continues to be powered by the same 648cc parallel-twin engine, which produces 46.39 bhp and 52.3 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
The bike rides on 19-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels. Suspension is handled by telescopic forks in the front and dual rear shock absorbers. This means that in this limited edition, the company has focused on design and distinctive identity rather than performance enhancements.
