Washington: US President Donald Trump has made a big statement regarding Iran. He said that if Tehran does not allow International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors to investigate its nuclear programme, the US could stop the ongoing technical negotiations with it. Trump claims that under the current talks, the terms of inspection have already been agreed upon.
Speaking to reporters during a tour of the Mack Trucks plant in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, Trump said the claim that Iran has not agreed to allow access to the UN nuclear-monitoring agency was false.
He said, “We have a 100 percent clear agreement on inspections. Had it not been so, I would have cancelled the talks right now.”

When Trump was asked when inspectors would arrive in Iran, he replied that they would be deployed on the ground when the appropriate time came. He said that there is no need to rush with this, but an inspection will definitely happen.
